They have a wide variety and good selection of everything. Leather, hides, tools, medicines. They are fair. All these drums were either tied by them and then painted. Or supplies bought their and then made. Their good customer service get my business and our non profit Unkitawas business.

First time purchase from CHF. Mandy was most helpful with my order and happily answered my many questions. My drum is in the works and will hopefully be completed soon. Will update with additional photos. I highly recommend Centralia Hide and Fur, their drum frames and skins are excellent quality. I would gladly purchase from them again when making my next drum.

I love love love this company! I get Native ceremonial Kinni-kinnick and I love the price and it gets here fast. I also got dry tobacco once by Accedent one time and they sent me new one with no questions ask! I would highly recommend this company! I Will keep buying from them!

Quality is sadly not always consistent on thickness of hides. Some of the frames I’ve gotten from them warped within days, do not buy kits with maple compressed frames, they are cheap, and unreliable Poor customer service, they more worried about saving a small chunk of my over 300$ order than keeping a customer and refunding me for the questionable hide they sent or just sending a new one which probably would’ve cost barely nothing to them for what they pay on it When they sent me a hide with a paper thin spot I had to call them 3 times without any follow up, send videos and pictures, they expect you to send their mistakes back, taking your time and money for postage; rather than honoring the clear quality issue videos and taking care of you on the spot without making you track them down or spend days calling and checking for a response, your money or time. Simply not the kind of company I choose to work with. They’re ok sometimes, their consistency and customer service could use some serious tuning. Keeping a customer in the long run with simple curtousy, Or calling them ahead if one of the hides is clearly not the same quality as what else has been sent and paid for barely takes any time on their part. Their quality insurance statement was well “if our master drum maker can ‘make it work’ it’s good enough” I don’t know about you, to me that’s not a statement of quality. Good enough does not equal quality, consistency is quality, Spots where I could break a drum with a drum stick because it can wrinkle like PAPER, are not They need to decide if arguing over cost with a customer is really the stance they want to take when they have the ability to make right what shouldn’t have happened in the first place It’s quite obvious the skin on the left is nowhere near the thickness it is for every other drum head, it crumpled like paper and is completely unacceptable as a maker for anything besides a decorative drum that won’t by be played, the part shown wasn’t even the thinnest part

Worst worst experience imaginable, first elk harvested sent to get tanned with hair on. To call back 10 months later for them to tell me that they're Tannery left a pallet of hides out in the sun and became rotten. Did not do anything to make it right only offered another hide or refund of deposit. The receptionist admitted it was due to negligence the Tannery that they use and there is nothing they can do about it. Look elsewhere for you business!

Don't waste your time with the moccasin kits. I bought 3 of them. 2 out 3 of them less than half of all the holes were punched through. The infant moccasin kit I bought and out together had even less holes punched all the way through. This made the one and only needle they sent broke and it took a loooong time to finish which was unnecessary. I bought 2 adult moccasin kits. One of them came together beautifully because all the holes were punched through. Now the second one is not the same. I went around a put the blunted non-leather needle through the holes and less than half are punched all the wY through. These kits are supposed to come with everything you need to complete. The blunted needle is supposed to work if all the holes are punched through. But they are not. I'm dissappinted to say the least as I do not have leather needles nor do I have a leather punch. So on top of the $100+ I spent on these I'm gonna have to spend more on the tools needed to finish. I am a very unhappy customer. I have been a loyal customer for years . I could forgive some things like if only one kit had unpunched holes. But having two it's unfair to me as a customer. It made my thumb and fingers bloody trying to pull the needle through. If you've ever worked with leather then you know what I mean. I don't mind getting the extra tools. What I don't like is being deceived. These kits are supposed to be ready to make. I sent an email but don't expect anything. I will update my review if customer service takes care of this issue.

Very horrible customer service. Mandy is not kind or helpful at all. If you get your order as you ordered it, you will enjoy your product. If you have a question, don't even bother calling. After March of 2023 the customer service has been beyond unacceptable.

I love the wide variety selection! I'm very disappointed with the quality of the hides I got because I ordered the #1 expecting them to be the best, but they have a lot of very noticeable markings, scrapes, and very discolored with blemishes, and it must be stored folded up because it has a bunch of squared creases and a long crease down the middle ( so maybe a #3). If you are going to do some very nice "show pieces" I would not recommend this, but for everyday crafts this is the place to go!
